The Ocala Preserve Veterans Park

Dedicated on Veterans Day 2022, Veterans Park was created by the Ocala Preserve Veterans Corporation (TOPVETS) as a lasting tribute to all who have served, continue to serve, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the United States and our Allies. Designed as a place of reflection, education, and community connection, the park hosts commemorations such as Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day, along with other solemn and meaningful events. Many residents of our community are Veterans who served selflessly for decades across all branches of the Armed Forces, and this park stands as a permanent expression of gratitude for their commitment and service.

The park’s distinctive features include a graceful arched walkway of engraved pavers—known as the Walk of Honor—where nearly 200 personalized bricks have already been placed, with room for up to 2,000. Five white pylons topped with bronze military medallions represent each branch of service, while marble benches, white crepe myrtle trees, blue plumbago bushes, and a vibrant bed of red flowers create a peaceful environment for visitors to pause and reflect. Veterans Park is a beautiful year-round tribute and a meaningful gathering place within the Ocala Preserve community.
