PURCHASE, PRICING, AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
Q. 1. How do I order and pay for an Engraved Brick?
A. You may order and pay for a brick in several ways.
Bricks can be purchased online at https://www.topvets.org/veterans-park
You can order by mail. Please send your check with your order form to our address located at the end of this document.
You can also give us a call and we will mail you and Engrave Brick Order Form. Our contact information is at the end of this document.
Your order will not be processed further until your payment is complete.
Q 2. How much does an Engraved Brick cost?
A. 4”x8” Engraved Brick is $100. (3 lines 20 characters per line), 8”x8” Engraved Brick (paver) is $200. (6 lines 20 characters per line), 4”x4” Replica Tile may be ordered for an additional $20.
Q. 3. What is a Replica Tile?
A. It is a 4”x4” black granite tile with the exact engraving on the Engraved Brick you ordered. It’s a keepsake for you to treasure. The tile will be prepared and shipped to TOPVETS at the same time as your Engraved Brick. We will present it to you when your brick is installed.
Q. 4. If I did not order a Replica Tile when I ordered my Engraved Brick, may I purchase one afterwards? May I buy additional Replica Tiles?
A. Having purchased an Engraved Brick, you can then contact TOPVETS to purchase one or more
Replica Tiles at any time. Your new order will be included in our cycle for ordering Engraved Bricks. For each Replica Tile ordered after your original purchase, there will be an additional $10 charge per Replica Tile.
Q. 5. After I place my order can I change my text?
A. After we receive your order, you will be emailed a confirmation notice that includes your inscription request. Please review it carefully and let us know as soon as possible!
Q. 6. If I order an Engraved Brick and change my mind, can I cancel my order?
A. After you have received confirmation and your Engraved Brick is in production all sales are final and orders cannot be cancelled or payments refunded.
Q. 7. How many Engraved Bricks may I buy?
A. As many was you wish. However, each Engraved Brick requires a separate order form.
Q. 8. Is there a deadline to order my Engraved Brick?
A. No, there is no deadline. If you wish to have your Engraved Brick installed for the initial dedication of Veterans Park, you must submit your order by August 26, 2022.
Q. 9. Do I own the Engraved Brick I purchase?
A. No. Your brick becomes an esteemed and permanent feature of Veterans Park.
Q. 10. Will TOPVETS continue to accept orders for Engraved Bricks?
A. Yes. We will continue to accept orders.
Q. 11. What will happen with the personal information I send you?
A. Your information is confidential and will be kept secured in our files. It will never be given or sold.

Q 1. How many bricks will you have on the “Walk Of Honor”.
A. The arched pathway can accommodate approximately 900 Engraved Bricks.
Q 2. Can I choose where I want my Engraved Brick installed?
A. We cannot take requests for specific placement, however, we will make every attempt to place bricks ordered at the same time together in a grouping. We cannot remove previously placed bricks to accommodate later additions.
Q 3. Will you let me know when my Engraved Brick is installed?
A. Yes we will notify by email or phone that your Engraved Brick has been installed.
GENERAL
Q. 1. Who can buy a brick?
A. All residents of Ocala Preserve, their extended family, and their loved ones may purchase Engraved Bricks to be placed on the “Walk of Honor”. Businesses, organizations, and individuals who wish to support military veterans or the Ocala Persevere Veterans Park may purchase an 8”x8” Engraved Brick to be placed in a designated area surrounding the plantings in the park.
Q. 2. Who can be honored on a brick? Do they have to be an Ocala Preserve resident?
A. Any person, family or loved one, who served or is currently serving in one of the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, Reserves, National Guard or those of our Allies can be honored on an Engraved Brick. All veterans can be honored regardless of where they live. They do not have to be or have been an Ocala Preserve resident.
Q. 3. I don’t have a service member to honor, but I would still like to have a brick. What can I do?
A. You may inscribe your brick with a message honoring all who have served. You can see an example at https://www.topvets.org/veterans-park. You may also contact us for assistance in choosing appropriate wording to fit your needs.
Q. 4. If I do not have a specific service member in mind, nor do I wish to have a brick how may I contribute or donate?
A. You may go to https://www.topvets.org/veterans-park and you will have the opportunity to donate by clicking a link to do so. You will also find information on levels of Sponsorships that will be recognized on plaques within the park.
BRICKS ENGRAVING AND PERSONALIZATION

Q. 1. May I put any information I want on the Engraved Brick?
A. Messages must be military related such as honoring a veteran, the military in general, or some related military organization. Typically the brick displays the Veteran’s name, branch of service, and dates of service. Details of content, form, and style restrictions are on the Engraved Brick ordering form.
Q. 2. Can I add images of military awards on my Engraved Brick?
A. If you wish to include symbols of awards for valor i.e. Purple Heart, Silver Star etc. you must provide documentation of the award by providing a copy of the Veterans Form DD 214 or DD 215 or a WD AGO form.
Q. 3. If I can't find a DD214 form what do I do?
A. Click on the following National Archives website link and it will direct you on how to get your DD 214 at http://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records.
Q. 4. How do I provide TOPVETS a copy of the required form?
A. Our contact information is at the end of this document. We will retain the copy for our records. DO NOT send the original.
Q. 5. Can I add emojis or symbols to the Engraved Brick I purchase?
A. Yes, these bricks may include images selected from a clip art library on our brick ordering website. The symbol is considered part of the allotted number of spaces available. (There is an additional charge of $20) You may also request other customization in the notes section of the ordering https://www.topvets.org/veterans-park.
Q. 6. What is the most common mistake when ordering a brick?
A. The most common error that we see is trying to place too many characters on a line. Trying to put more than one letter, number, space, or punctuation mark in a block will only delay your order. A committee member of the Veterans Park will contact you to resolve the error. We do not recommend running together names or words to save space as it makes the finished brick difficult to read. If you require assistance or suggestions in completing your order form, we are available to help. Our contact information is at the end of this document.
TOPVETS reserves the right to refuse any order it believes to be a liability to the positive atmosphere of the park and will return payment to the purchaser if found inappropriate.
